Camp Picnic is a small unique art camp in Berkeley, California. The program is designed for children ages 5-12 years-old. Camp Picnic is hosted at Lisa's home in North Berkeley and is limited to 10 students per session. Campers will explore weaving, natural dye, printmaking, clay, drawing, and collage.
The Daily Schedule
9am- Journaling and exploration
9:30am- Morning art project
11:30am- Hike to Codornices Park for a picnic lunch and outdoor games and exercise.
1:30pm- Afternoon art project
2:45pm- Sharing circle, stories and meditation.
3pm-6pm For the children staying for aftercare, there will be a balance of free play, organized craft projects and the opportunity to continue work on one of the morning projects.
Camp Picnic will provide all of the campers with the appropriate materials needed to complete the projects and with a camp t-shirt and tote bag to take their creations home with them on Friday.

Lisa grew up in the Bay Area in a creative household and is continuing the traditions with her own three young children. She left the corporate world in 2003 to pursue a creative life. Since then she has designed an accessory line, organized craft events for local designers and most recently founded the craft and lifestyle blog, Picnic. Her favorite days are spent at the beach with her family and her camera or traveling to distant lands. She offers a professional art camp in a nurturing environment with an intimate setting of no more than 10 students.
