We've been living in France for 8 months (gasp, the time has gone by so quickly) and we have just now discovered the Ferry Plaza market equivalent. It happens on Sunday mornings along the river in Bordeaux. In addition to buying your groceries for the week, you can enjoy lunch there as well. The highlights were the organ grinder, the guy selling shrimp out of a darling red boat (I appreciated his branding), and the neighboring skate park. We have our fair share of skate parks in California but I really liked this set up because it had a beginner park, an intermediate park and an advanced park right next to each other. It was so cute to see the petite skaters on the mini-golf greens rolling down the miniature hills. Of course, Wilder wanted in on the action but he has no wheels and we probably won't invest in any since we are only living here until July. Speaking of July... Doug purchased our tickets to fly home in July this week so we will be savoring our last months here in the French countryside.
