We got our first bit of negative feedback from a teacher. Surprisingly, it was in regard to Wilder, whom I view as my easiest kid to date. The feedback... he is a little lazy. Apparently, he refuses to feed himself while at school and has somehow charmed the girl next to him into feeding him. Of course, the teacher now thinks I do too much for him at home. I can assure you that I have not helped him eat since he was 18 months. Anyway, I admit, he does seem a little lazy but I prefer to call it a chill personality. This week, I got to have a little date with my "lazy" and chilled out youngest. I gifted him with a new friendship bracelet (his last one he wore all of last summer and eventually fell off). Over pizza and ice cream he shared some interesting insights... "when I eat my ice cream, it buzzes down my legs but you can't see it" and asked some inquisitive questions, "where does the pizza man sleep?" and even threw in a little humor, "the tomato sauce is the pizza man's doudou (the french word for lovey)." I love this kid, lazy bones and all.
