Valentine's Day is celebrated in France and we are excited to stick with tradition and make our own again this year. With 3 kids, that means about 60 valentines need to be made. The workshop is kicking into gear this week with these two designs. Eero and Wilder are dropping the ball and have decided to skip out on the process and participate in foam sword fights instead. I think they know that I am desperate to make them myself anyway. I had some craft business cards from Muji and a set of oil pastels and came up with this simple design that can easily be tackled in an hour.
For Bijou, I shared this origami heart idea from Martha Stewart, knowing that she loves origami. In our house, many origami projects end in frustration but this one is easy enough for a grade-schooler to tackle.
